1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using InterviewBoss (a service of Teamz Lab) ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. What the Service Does

InterviewBoss is a voice-based mock-interview practice platform. It plays English interview questions, listens to your spoken answer, and shows model answers so you can practice before a real job interview.

The Service is for practice and learning. We do not guarantee that using the Service will get you a job, a visa, or any employment offer.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

You agree to provide truthful information when signing up.

4. Account, Phone & Email Sign-in

You can sign in with Google, with your email + password, with an email magic-link, or with your Bangladeshi mobile number via one-time SMS code (OTP).

By giving us your phone number you agree to receive an SMS containing the OTP from our SMS partner (mimsms.com). Standard carrier rates may apply at your end. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.

If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support@interviewboss.net immediately.

5. Voice Recordings, Answers & Other Content

When you practice, the Service may record your voice and store your typed/spoken answers to show you a report and to help improve our question bank and AI feedback.

You retain ownership of your answers. By using the Service you grant us a limited, royalty-free license to store, process and display this content to you (and to your hiring agency, if you accessed the Service through one) for the purpose of providing the Service.

Do not upload illegal, defamatory, sexually explicit, or harmful content.

6. Payments, Subscription & Refunds

Paid features (if any) are billed in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and processed via local payment partners (currently bKash, with more methods added over time).

Payments are non-refundable except where required by Bangladeshi law or where we cancel the Service. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact support@interviewboss.net within 7 days.

You may cancel a subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: (a) impersonate another person; (b) attempt to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service; (c) use the Service to harass others or to commit fraud; (d) share your account with multiple people commercially.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its questions, sample answers, branding, audio, and code, is owned by InterviewBoss (a service of Teamz Lab). You may not copy, redistribute, or resell any part of the Service without our written permission.

Open-source components remain under their original licenses.

9. Disclaimer & No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep it accurate and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that AI feedback will be perfectly correct.

Practicing with InterviewBoss does not guarantee you will pass any interview, get a visa, or be hired by any employer.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of Bangladesh, InterviewBoss (a service of Teamz Lab) will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses — including lost employment opportunities, lost wages, or lost data — arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid us in the 6 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or BDT 1,000, whichever is greater.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

Any dispute that we cannot resolve informally will be resolved by the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date at the top of this page will change when we do.

If we make a major change, we will notify you by email or by a banner inside the app. Continued use after the change means you accept the new Terms.
